Born in 1970 from a simple family on Kibaya hill in Bukinanyana commune of Cibitoke province in the North-West of Burundi, CPC Ndirakobuca Gervais was in 2nd candidacy (Faculty of Science, Department of Chemistry) at the University of Burundi when, in 1993.
Life in the maquis.
Arrived in the maquis, he valiantly led the war against the regular army which had brutally assassinated the first democratically elected Hutu civilian President Ndadaye Melchior. The professional field
He is one of the great architects of this Corps which is the pride of Burundi wherever its elements are deployed. Before the birth of this Corps on December 31, 2004, this officer was a member of the PNB's integrated staff, which was responsible for thinking it through, molding it.
In this police force, he climbed all the levels and held various positions of great responsibility.
He went successively from deputy head of office in charge of intelligence, communication and archives to the general management of the PNB, member of the national commission for the disarmament of the civilian population and the fight against the proliferation of light and small caliber weapons for 6 years Deputy Director General of the PNB for 5 years (from 2007 to 2012).
Then Deputy Inspector General of the PNB in 2007, twice chief of staff at the national intelligence service, chief of staff at the Presidency of the Republic in charge of police matters for 5 years and general administrator of the national intelligence service until his appointment as Minister of the Interior, Community Development and Public Security on June 28, 2020.
Before becoming a minister, he only occupied himself with his absorbing profession of policeman; he underwent several professional training courses on the job in Burundi and abroad. With exceptional courage, he even returned to the amphitheaters of the Espoir d'Afrique University where he obtained his degree this time in Law after 5 years of intense work in 2013. Every evening at the end of the tiring work , he went to the audiences.

CPC Ndirakobuca Gervais is also a good father with a wife and 7 children (3 boys and 4 girls). In his life, he likes to contemplate the fields and livestock without forgetting prayer. He hates injustice.
Who is Guillaume Bunyoni, who was removed from the position of Prime Minister
Alain-Guillaume Bunyoni is a police officer with the rank of General Police Commissioner (CPG) equivalent to the General of the Armed Forces. He was until June 23, 2020 Minister of Public Security and Disaster Management.
He was born in 1972 in the commune of Muha, Kanyosha zone in the province of Bujumbura Mairie, in a family of 6 children. He even has six children including 4 girls and 2 boys.
His intellectual journey began in 1978-1984, at Kanyosha Primary School. He did his secondary studies at the Athénée de Bujumbura, which later became the Lycée de Rohero (1985-1990) then at the Lycée de Rutovu (1990-1993) and at the University of Burundi in 1994, which he quickly left to join the maquis of the CNDD-FDD movement. Alain-Guillaume Bunyoni has 2 higher diplomas issued by correspondence by the Emmaus Bible School, one for 4 years and the other for 2 years.
With the signing of a ceasefire between the CNDD-FDD movement and the government of Burundi in 2003, Alain-Guillaume Bunyoni became Coordinator of the National Police Integrated Headquarters in 2004.
He successively held the positions of Director General of the National Police and National Focal Point of the African Center for Study and Research on Terrorism between 2005 and 2007, 2 times Minister of Public Security from November 7, 2007 to November 11, 2011 then from 2015 until the day of his appointment as Prime Minister.
Before returning to the post of Minister of Public Security, he was Permanent Executive Secretary of the National Security Council and Head of the Civil Cabinet of the President of the Republic from 2011 until November 2014.
In an interview he gave to our editorial staff, Alain-Guillaume Bunyoni told us that his hobbies are prayer, reading the Bible, the work that the government has entrusted to him as well as the work aimed at the development of his family. .

"I do not like people who violate the law and the regulations in force in the country as well as the lazy because these categories of people can lead the country in difficult situations", underlined Alain-Guillaume Bunyoni.
